I wanted to plant fruit bushes in some of the holes drilled in the concrete of the back yard. It seems to be a good idea.
I had my heart set on a red current bush, a raspberry cane and a gooseberry.
You can’t call two raspberries a harvest, but the berry bushes are growing well now so who knows – maybe enough for one desert next year.
Maybe abundance of berries the year after.
