I have a love-hate relationship with Pampa grass. I sort of detest it. I thought putting one small Pampa grass in a hole would keep it in check. I was wrong. But then again I’d rather look at Pampa grass than at parked cars. Also my house became more private as no one can see into the kitchen now through the Pampa grass.
I have now drastically cut down the Pampa grass to size, filling up the new functional brown bin provided by the council. I want to give small things a chance.
The thinned-out Pampa grass is a lot more graceful and less annoying when its windy.
I also planted succulent plants in holes made in stones. This is a picture of the only successful one.
